He is making the most of this opportunity by bringing together an ensemble of musicians from both Nijmegen and Rotterdam. For him a pretty logical step. That’s because this rising star, who recently graduated with top honours from Codarts Rotterdam, moves in jazz circles in both cities. With his ‘Nijmegen-Rotterdam Collective’ he is uniting these two worlds at the Festival Jazz International Nijmegen (premiere) and then at the Festival Jazz International Rotterdam. Jesse is known for his work with such bands as Liberati Quartet (Rotterdam) and De Raad van Toezicht (Nijmegen). He also plays with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
