In this privacy statement we explain what personal data we collect and how we use it. We collect personal data only when necessary and appropriate. We do not share personal data with third parties. We do not use your personal details to send you anything without your permission.
We collect subscription requests for our newsletter through our website, our social media channels, and in writing at our events. Your email address is all we require to mail you our newsletter. We ask you to voluntarily give us your name. Paper forms are destroyed as soon as your subscription request has been processed in the newsletter system. We use the Mailchimp system for our newsletter. Your personal details are stored in Mailchimp only as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter.

We use the Stager system for online ticket sales for our events. We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Stager. To ensure the smooth processing of online sales, we ask you for your name and email address. In collaboration with Rotterdam Festivals, and to improve our service, we also gain insight into our audience by means of a brief survey in which we ask for your postal code, house number and age. Stager also requests an invoice address for business users. The data you enter during the payment process is screened by the payment organization and is not visible to us.
Stager stores your personal details as long as your Stager account is active.

We use your contact details to send you tickets and emails about the event in question and the festival. For example, to inform you about cancellations or changed starting times, and other information about the festival. We also send you one email with information about the next edition of the festival.
We keep statistics on the use of our website using Google Analytics. We have signed a DPA with Google. Google Analytics makes use of functional cookies, small files that register your site activity and store the data on servers in the US. Your IP address, a series of numbers linked to your computer or other device, is partly concealed. No data is shared with other Google services. No use is made of User IDs that allow you to be tracked on various devices or sessions. Your user data is stored for a maximum of 26 months from the last moment of use.

Photographers and cameramen are present at many of our concerts to collect visual material of the festival for us. It is practically impossible to contact the individuals in every image to seek their permission. We work on the assumption that by attending our concerts you agree to our use of all visual material. We use photos and videos to report on the festival on our website and social media. We store the images for an indefinite period in our archive.
If you object to our use of images on which you are visible, let us know by sending an email to info@jazzinternational.nl and we will remove these images from our channels.
